Lock of the Day
Challenge your students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills with our daily digital games. Each school day brings a new game for students to solve. Students can even earn “streaks” for solving the Lock of the Day every day of the week. With the ability to navigate back to previous days to complete games there is no need to worry if a day is missed! Teachers can effortlessly manage and track student progress through the intuitive “My Classes” dashboard. Digital Games
Explore the extensive library of digital games covering diverse subjects and difficulty levels. Search for a game that aligns with your curriculum and choose if you would like the whole class to play the game or if you would like to assign it to individual students. Whole class games can be shared with students via a projector or Smartboard whereas individual games can be assigned directly to your students’ Breakout EDU accounts. Once the game is in action, it’s time to step back and observe! Enjoy watching students interact and work together to BREAKOUT! Kit-based Games
Hands-on Breakout EDU Kit-based Games are the perfect way to break up digital monotony. Each physical kit includes all of the materials needed to facilitate any of our hundreds of available Kit-based Games. Watch students’ faces light up when they enter a Breakout classroom to see boxes, locks, and clues set up just for their learning journey. Breaking out requires more than content knowledge - students have to work together, get creative, communicate, and think outside of the box. Kit-based Games are also wonderful opportunities for teachers to informally observe students at work to gauge their progress towards content proficiency, social emotional skills, and executive function. Game Design Studio
When students become content creators, there is no limit to what they can do! Challenge students to create their own Breakout EDU digital game in the Game Design Studio. Students can design games individually, in small groups, or even as a whole class! Students or teachers can use premade templates to get started. From there, develop a storyline, create clues, and add fun locks throughout. The Game Design Studio also includes Adobe Express to unlock access to an extensive image and asset library!
